Get your overdue invoices paid

Nobody likes chasing a client they want to keep. Add the invoice: SolviPay reads the case, tells you what to do and when, and prepares the reminder in your company’s name, with a link to pay. You stay on good terms with your client. If nothing moves, the formal notice is ready.

From unpaid invoice to payment

  1. Add the invoice

Three fields are enough: the client, the amount and the due date.

Progress invoice, deposit, final balance or retention money: each invoice gets its own case.

  2. Send reminders in your name

SolviPay prepares the reminder with your IBAN and a link to pay. You see the email, you send it.

Your client reads “From: Dupont Rénovation”, sent from a SolviPay address. Replies come to you.

If nothing happens, the formal notice is ready, with the amounts worked out, and waits for your approval.

  3. Get paid

Your client opens a page in your name: they pay by bank transfer, propose a payment plan, dispute with a photo or report that they have already paid.

You are notified. Reminders stop once the invoice is paid.

Extra work: the proof that heads off a dispute

Your client approves the extra-work order online, without an account. When you invoice, their dated approval is in the case and the price is no longer up for debate.

For a private client, the order includes the French consumer law notices.

The firm reminder and the formal notice are never sent without your approval. Only two sends go out on their own: the courtesy reminder three days before the due date, and the first two friendly reminders if you switch them on.

The money goes from your client to your account. SolviPay takes nothing from the amounts paid.

Frequently asked questions

Another question? contact@solvipay.fr

Are these reminders legal?

Yes. SolviPay is software: reminders are sent in the name of your company, which remains the creditor. Late payment penalties and the €40 fixed compensation are only claimed from business clients.

Which address are reminders sent from?

Your client sees your company name as the sender. The email goes out from a SolviPay address set up to reach the inbox, and your client’s replies come to you. The firm reminder and the formal notice are never sent without your approval. If you have already chased the client several times yourself, say so when you add the invoice: SolviPay goes straight to the firm reminder, then the formal notice, from the same case. SolviPay is not a debt collection agency and takes no commission.

How does my client pay me?

By bank transfer, straight to your account: your IBAN and the reference to quote appear in the reminder and on the payment page. Card payment will be added once you switch on online payment; this option is not open yet. SolviPay takes nothing from the amounts paid.

What do I pay for?

Only formal actions, one at a time: formal notice by electronic registered letter (€11.90), simplified procedure file for the judicial officer (€19.90), payment order file (€49), solvency report (€9) and VAT certificate for a bad debt (€19). The tool stays free, with no subscription and no commission on amounts recovered. These formal actions are coming soon.

When is the first reminder sent?

As soon as you approve it. Three days before the due date, a courtesy reminder is also sent to your client automatically. The firm reminder and the formal notice wait for your approval.

Progress invoice, deposit, retention money: does it work too?

Yes. Each invoice gets its own case, whatever it is. For retention money, enter as the due date the date one year after the handover of the works. The retention money guide (in French) gives the deadline and the letter to send.

My client disputes the work. What happens?

Your client can say so from the payment page, with a reason (work not finished, defective work, wrong amount) and a photo. You are notified, and reminders stop while you look into the dispute.

Where is my data hosted?

In the European Union: the database is hosted in Frankfurt, Germany. Details are in the privacy policy (in French).

Is there a mobile app?

Not yet on the App Store or Google Play. SolviPay works in your phone’s browser, with the same account.

How do I contact you?

By email at contact@solvipay.fr. We reply within 2 working days.
